Fallbrook Beautification Alliance Present 2010 Outstanding Landscape Awards The Fallbrook Beautification Alliance (FBA) is pleased to announce the winners of the Fallbrook 2010 Outstanding Landscape Award. The program, established in 2008, is designed to recognize the efforts of individuals and organizations that contribute to community pride through excellence in landscaping, beautification and continued property maintenance. Nominations were receive in five of the award categories which include: residential, commercial, multi-family, non-profit and a new category introduced this year to recognize water wise landscaping. Grangetto’s recently redesigned gardens along Alvarado showcase a mix of Mediterranean and native plantings. The gardens which are also drought tolerant create a beautiful backdrop for their south facing location.

Debbie Brand’s landscape features a dry riverbed among beautiful, colorful plantings. The garden holds an antique wagon and other interesting treasures surrounded by flowering plants.

St. Peter's Catholic Church-Non Profit Winner – 450 S. Stagecoach Lane (Corner of Stagecoach Lane and Fallbrook Street)

St. Peter’s has used an assortment of plants to attract the eye with color as well as shape. The gardens circle the newly built church, framing fountains and sculpture, as well as extending along the entrance to the school and office buildings.

Fallbrook Fertilizer-Water Wise Winner - 215 W. Fallbrook Street

The plants are arranged around an old, colorful wagon and the gardens continue across the front of the building.
